Coal Ridge High School Senior Photographer | Kylie

The end is near!  Well, the end of High School anyway.  Over the next couple of weeks I will be showcasing the 2017 graduates that I had the pleasure of working with over the past year.

Meet Kylie!  Kylie will soon graduate from Coal Ridge High School in Silt/New Castle, Colorado.  I have had the pleasure of getting to know Kylie quite well over the past few years, she even babysits for us on occasion.  She is the sweetest thing and I know that her future holds great things for her!

Kylie will graduate on May 21st and this fall she is headed to The University of Northern Colorado to study criminology and criminal justice.  She has been an active member of the Coal Ridge Cheer Team throughout high school and plans to continue that path through college by participating in the dance club.

Miss Kylie has the most incredible parents a kid could dream of being raised by and they are the one thing she will miss the most when she embarks on this new adventure.

To all upcoming Seniors, Kylie wants to leave you with a little advice:

"High School goes by too fast.  Don't take it for granted.  Enjoy it to the very fullest!"

Congratulations, Kylie!  We are all so excited to see you off on this wonderful journey!

Plateau Valley Class of 2017 | Caitlynn Grace

Caity Grace, Plateau Valley Class of 2017, is the first Senior to make the blog this season!  Caity is a Cowboy!  I don't mean a boot wearing, country singing, cow wrangling kinda cowboy - she is a Plateau Valley Cowboy (KAC!)!  She is an amazing young woman, so sweet and down to earth who has future plans to play college basketball after she turns her tassel in the spring.  Caity came over the hill to hang out with me in Silt for her Senior Photo Session which was nothing short of AMAZING!  See for yourself...

This...This is my Grand Junction Class of 2017 Street Team!  This group consists of students from all over the Grand Valley from Palisade High School, Central High School and Grand Junction High School.  This is such an awesome and diverse bunch.  For their second session we took a little trip out to the Mesa Mall Carnival to show off our goofiness.  We had SO MUCH FUN!!

Meet the Coal Ridge HS Class of 2017, Carrie Johnson Photography Street Team!

Each year I gather a group of upcoming high school seniors who want to have fun and earn discounts towards their senior portraits by doing so!  This year I have had the privilege of working with two teams, one from GJ and one from Coal Ridge High School.  I've blogged about this group before because this is their second session with me, but they are so much Fun to work with and be around!

These kids help me to promote my business and most importantly they help spread the word to their peers that Senior Portraits are coming due this fall to the schools for yearbook submissions.  My street Team crew earns discounts towards their individual portrait sessions by sharing their images from their group mini sessions AND their peers also receive discounts for booking through Carrie Johnson Photography!

So, if you are a Senior in High School or know of a senior in high school, be sure to send them my way so they can get in on the awesome discounts!

The Coal Ridge Class of 2017 Street Team!

Each year I select a handful of high school Juniors to join my street team.  These students get to participate in fun group photo shoots to help me spread the word to their peers that Senior photos will be coming due and the best time to schedule portraits is right in between their Junior and Senior year.  Senior year is an important milestone in life and one that should be documented on camera!

This group is such a blast to have in front of my lens and their friendship shines bright.  We will have one more group session together and then we will start planning for their individual senior portraits later this summer.

If you happen to know any of these people, let them know that you are interested in Senior photos and they can get you in on a some sweet discounts!

Lynze | Fruita Monument Senior Photographer

Another lovely is making her debut on my blog today!  This is Lynze!  She attends Fruita Monument High School and will graduate this spring with the class of 2016.  Lynze is such a sweet soul and she was so much fun to photograph.  Her goal is to go to cosmetology school and why shouldn't she?  Just look at that perfectly gorgeous makeup that she did herself!  Stunning!!

Jordyn | Grand Junction Senior Photographer

Your Grand Junction Senior Photographer is proud to feature another GJHS class of 2016 graduate!  Everyone, meet Jordyn!  She's such a beauty both inside and out, and OMG that red hair!  LOVE me a red head!  Jordyn recently received her acceptance letter to CU-Boulder and I couldn't be more proud and happy for this bright young lady.  I am so excited to see where this new journey leads her!
