Allie and Henny Penny | A Day in the Life

My sweet little Niece, Allie, loves her chickens! She’s got her very own “Hen House” and flock of ladies to collect eggs from daily. We went to visit Allie and her family for my Brother and Dad’s birthday party this past weekend. I have been wanting to photograph little Al with her chickens so I took a dress and my camera gear along. After dinner I asked Al if I could take her picture and she told me “NO” in true Allie fashion. It took little bit of convincing and bribery before she finally said yes, haha!

The mini photoshoot didn’t last long but we had a lot of fun. Even more fun chasing the chicken back to the coop!

Coal Ridge Class of 2017 | Madison

The Coal Ridge Class of 2017 is about to set free another incredible student!  Allow me to introduce to you Miss Madison!  Madie will graduate with her class mates on May 21st and this fall she is headed to Colorado Mesa University to obtain her Nursing degree!  Family and friends are so proud her and she's definitely earned all of the good fortune headed her way.  Madie has received a handful of scholarships to help her on her journey to success and among those scholarships awarded are:  CMU Distinguished Scholars (Full tuition), CMU First Generation, and the Glenwood Hot Springs Higher Education Scholarship.

I thoroughly enjoyed having Madie on my Team this year.  The very first time we met I was blown away by her infectious smile!  Seriously, this girl has a smile that you remember and it's so contagious.  Madie has held the position of Senior Class president throughout her final year as a Titan and one of the things she will miss the most is being able to coordinate all of the class and school events.  She will also greatly miss her peers and classmates.  (I'm going to miss you too, girl!)

Coal Ridge High School Senior Photographer | Kylie

The end is near!  Well, the end of High School anyway.  Over the next couple of weeks I will be showcasing the 2017 graduates that I had the pleasure of working with over the past year.

Meet Kylie!  Kylie will soon graduate from Coal Ridge High School in Silt/New Castle, Colorado.  I have had the pleasure of getting to know Kylie quite well over the past few years, she even babysits for us on occasion.  She is the sweetest thing and I know that her future holds great things for her!

Kylie will graduate on May 21st and this fall she is headed to The University of Northern Colorado to study criminology and criminal justice.  She has been an active member of the Coal Ridge Cheer Team throughout high school and plans to continue that path through college by participating in the dance club.

Miss Kylie has the most incredible parents a kid could dream of being raised by and they are the one thing she will miss the most when she embarks on this new adventure.

To all upcoming Seniors, Kylie wants to leave you with a little advice:

"High School goes by too fast.  Don't take it for granted.  Enjoy it to the very fullest!"

Congratulations, Kylie!  We are all so excited to see you off on this wonderful journey!

Silt Colorado Family Photographer | The Herrera's

Finally!  We are moved and settled and I can officially call myself your Silt Colorado Family Photographer!  I am so happy to be living in a new town that has me surrounded by so much beauty.  Don't get me wrong, I love the scenery of GJ but there is something about exploring a new home that is so exciting!

Jaycey | Eagle Valley Senior Photographer

Your Eagle Valley Senior Photographer has big news!....This stunning young lady, her name is Jaycey for those who don't know, has been accepted to the college of her choice!  Soon she will spread her wings and those wings are going to take her out of state to Louisiana!  Congratulations girlie on your journey as a McNeese Cowboy!  Jaycey has been one of my Class of 2016 Senior Reps and it has been such a wonderful joy to work with her!  We really had a blast and I'm excited to see all that she does in her bright future!
