Kody West | Rifle High School Class of 2020

HUGE shoutout to the Rifle High School Class of 2020 as they celebrate their graduation this Saturday with a Motorcade Processional through downtown Rifle. Times are certainly unique and unfortunate for Seniors but we will celebrate them the best way we can.

Among those Seniors walking (or rather, driving) this weekend is Kody West. Kody has missed singing and putting together music with RHS’s Varsity and Men’s Choirs the most during quarantine. He’s been done with school for a while now and was really looking forward to hanging with friends and making music for the last couple of months. Sorry, Kody! Kody plans to attend CMU in the fall and is looking forward to the adventures ahead!

White Owl Ranch Wedding | Sam + Nick

Have you ever been to the White Owl Ranch in New Castle, CO? I hadn’t either until Sam & Nick’s wedding a few weeks ago. What an incredible venue! Quaint, rustic and seriously breathtaking views of the Colorado River Valley. I’d definitely consider this place a hidden gem in the wedding industry! Sam and Nick had a few ups and downs when choosing a venue and I’m so tickled that everything fell into place for the White Owl Ranch.

The weather was not the most ideal and threw several curve balls our way but this couple handled it with grace and embraced the day for what it was. I personally thought the rain was an amazing addition and made for some EPIC photos with super dramatic skies and colors.

I am so delighted to have had the opportunity to photograph these two genuine people and be able to call them friends. It was a day for the books!

Mesa Lakes Wedding | Alisha + Dan

Planning a destination wedding can be such a fun experience if you have the right friends and professionals in your corner. Alisha and Dan were wed on August 18th at the beautifully rustic Mesa Lakes Lodge and they planned it all from their home in Oregon! Luckily, they had plenty of help from local friends and family to see to it that everything was prepared exactly to their liking.

It was such a pleasure getting to know the adorable couple and their loved ones. Alisha’s smile and laughter is infectious and she brought so much excitement to the party!

for your little ones, high school seniors, mommy & me, or the whole family! 

September 8th in Silt/Rifle, colorado! 

These sessions are one of a kind!  Featuring "Bella" the beautiful gray mare who loves kids.  We will also have a second backdrop for your portrait experience with our adorable teepee complete with vibrant floral arrangements and a guitar!  Your kiddos are sure to receive a unique experience and you will gain some amazing artwork and keepsakes to adorn your walls! 

Choose from a variety of Boho style dresses in various sizes and we even have a little something for the boys if they want to partake in the fun.  Or you are welcome to provide your own wardrobe!  These sessions are designed to have a light, airy and ethereal look and feel so if you plan to bring your own clothing then know that whites or ivories will look the best.

Session fee includes access to our custom wardrobes, props and Bella the beautiful and EXTREMELY gentle horse!

2 digital images of your choice will be included and delivered via download from our website

Vista View Wedding | Kylar + Cooper

Kylar and Cooper planned the perfect Vista View wedding at one of the most amazing venues in all of western Colorado!  Surrounded by loved ones, Mr. and Mrs. Palmer said their I do's on May 18th overlooking Harvey Gap Reservoir near Silt/Rifle Colorado.  I have been waiting a year to photograph these two in such a pristine location!  The V.V. Barn is a photographer's dream come true as the white walls are a fresh blank canvas for couples to design their fantasy wedding with no permanent distractions.  Check out the photos of Kylar and Cooper's wedding below to see for yourself!

Coal Ridge Senior | Emily

Coal Ridge Senior, Emily will also turn her tassel later today!  Later this fall she will be headed off to pursue a degree as a dental hygienist and she will also be playing volleyball.  (She's pretty good too, I might add!). I am really going to miss her and her funny sense of humor.  I call her my pig whisperer as she often baby sits my pig for me (she thinks the Pig hate her), haha!!  Good luck to you, Emily girl!!  I am so excited for you and your future!  Have fun today!
