My Shelby girl is another graduate who will walk tomorrow with Rifle High School!! Shelby is another amazing dancer with the Full Throttle Dance Co. team that will be heading to Worlds this summer. If you read my post about Kylee then you know exactly what I'm talking about ;). Shelby plans to hang with me this summer and I learn what she can about the exiting life of Photography, maybe even assist me with a few weddings which I'm totally stoked about!

Congrats, Shelby!! Have so much fun this weekend and take lots of pictures!!

Remember, I told you that the Coal Ridge Titans are graduating tomorrow! That includes this lady Titan right here, Samantha! I spent a good part of the winter watching this young lady on the basketball court and if you didn't get to see her play then you totally missed out! I might be a little bit biased as basketball is my jam ;) She is also an avid soccer athlete and her and her team had a good season this year as well. If you see Sam out and about this summer then please congratulate her on her future endeavors! She will be headed CMU this fall with a few of her fellow classmates.

Next up on my feature list is Rifle Bears Senior, Kylee! She will be walking with her classmates tomorrow and turning her tassel in the direction of a bright future. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Kylee very well over this past year and I won't even try to create a list of her accomplishments as it would take up an entire blog post. She is an incredible young woman and an amazing dancer and cheerleader, if I might add! Kylee is headed to the WORLD Dance Competition this summer in NJ with her fellow Full Throttle Dance Co. team mates! This fall, she will then journey to CMU where she has made the college Cheerleading team! Seriously, she's so amazing!

Congrats, Kylee girl!!! I'm really going to miss you but glad to know that you won't be far!

The time has come to give a shout out to the Coal Ridge Seniors as Graduation day is quickly approaching! I have had the pleasure of getting to know this girl right here and I have to tell you she is beautiful, sweet and so thoughtful. She has had an incredible Senior year which included a trip to state with one of the top cheerleading teams on the Western Slope! Props to Amethyst as she is headed to AZ this fall to attend the American Institute of Interior Design! Woah! Congrats, girlie!!

Yearbook photos have been turned in and this Roaring Fork Senior Photographer is celebrating another successfully busy season! Thank you to all of the High School Seniors who have chosen CJP to create some totally rad images to document this important milestone! What do I do now that the season has ended? Well, I get to catch up on all the adult tasks that come with owning a business like taxes and the not so fun stuff that these seniors will soon get to complain about as well. But, during the midst of adulthood I enjoy getting to spend every chance I get with these young people before they embark on their new adventures. It's a time for me to be creative, play, and shoot without pressure. That's exactly what we did here in our local laundromat! Enough with the cold winter months, let's do something indoors. So I called up these two awesome gals and said "hey, find some retro"ish" outfits and let's go play in the Laundromat (because I had been there not long ago and the light was amazing!). We did and we had a blast! Although, the Laundromat was quite busy - who knew?

Another GORGEOUS wedding has taken place this summer and this time we traveled lengths of the Roaring Fork Valley. Matt and Amy were wed at the beautiful St. Stephen Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs, Colorado with the reception held at the lovely Redstone Inn. The church in Glenwood is stunning! If you haven't been, I suggest you put it on your list of places to visit. It's truly incredible! Following the ceremony the bridal party hopped into a party bus provided by Charm Chauffeurs and traveled to Redstone, CO for the reception. We made stops in Carbondale for photo opps with the Majestic Mt. Sopris and then proceeded to venture past Redstone for photos near Marble. It was quite the day and so many amazing photos for the new couple to enjoy for eternity! Take a look and be sure to check out the vendors for all of your wedding planning needs!

As an Aspen Colorado engagement photographer I get to explore some of the most amazingly beautiful destinations with my couples! Colorado never seems to disappoint! Recently I got to venture up Independence Pass to an old Ghost Town with Brad, Annie and their dog Emma. The scenery, views and cool mountain air was the perfect escape to a hot summer day. Together we had a lot of fun playing and exploring and Brad and Annie were totally in their element. I'm looking forward to their wedding this fall where they will tie the knot at another great mountain destination - Bair Ranch in the Glenwood Canyon!

As a Colorado Wedding Photographer I get to travel to some of the most amazing places in the state! Recently, I visited Coulter Lake Guest Ranch for the wedding of Adrian and Brandi. I had no idea this place even existed here in the mountains of Western Colorado! The views were absolutely breath taking! Brandi and Adrian, with the help of their beloved family and friends put together the most beautiful DIY decor I have ever seen! There were decorations and details in every corner of the ranch.
